Can I have just the crumbs please 🙏🙏🙏🤣


The most happiest during the lockdown period at home is none other than our  dachshund- “COFFEE” -and that’s her name 😃!! Prelockdown she would hates it when master Sr & Jr would leave for work & school. But her joy would know no bounds when they would get back home . 

All my life [ until 2019 Aug] i disliked dogs and would not touch one even with a bargepole. How ever this one has stolen my heart . I remember the restrictions that I had imposed concerning her as we got her home . But I am the one who have broken quite a few rules ☺️. 

Such as .....whilst at the dining table, coffee will come(only to me) and look at me with her puppy eyes!! "Please, please whatever you seem to be having smells utterly butterly yummiliciouss 😋 ... can I but have just one tinnewinny  bite" ..... how I wish I could evade those mesmerising eyes . But her patience, her looks , her gaze, her demeanour, her resilience, her waiting drives me into finally giving her something .  She’s happy and I am happy too - that I did not disappoint her . 

This draws my thoughts back to the incident as narrated in the Bible -Matthew 15:21-28. The Canaanite woman comes to Jesus and seeks healing for her daughter who was suffering terribly . While Jesus kept silent for sometime, the disciples considered the woman to be a pest and wanted to send her away . 

Jesus has a heart to heal , bless and give abundantly and exceedingly more than we can ask but sometimes He tests our faith like He did with the Canaanite woman. He asked her -“it’s not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs “ to which the woman answered - “ even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters table “! There is a more deeper Biblical connotation to this conversation and most of you may know it [ if not write into asksharenreceive@gmail.com ]

Jesus was moved by the lady’s faith and granted her her request and that very moment her daughter was healed. 

Jesus was born as a Jew, He is the son of God, who came to save the entire mankind and this GOOD NEWS of SALVATION is for everyone. 

So look up to Him, have the faith , even as small as a mustard seed . He was & is your portion of healing , provisions , deliverance & salvation 

I used to be like coffee sometimes , Lord please just the crumbs ! 

But He says " I have come so that you may have in abundance " - That means His grace is sufficient in everything ! And even if you just have little , His JOY & PEACE that passeth all understanding is enough !

    Thanks Mini, really so profound. The best place fo be is sitting at the feet of Jesus, a place of surrender and obedience to our God full of love, grace and mercy. Yes and Coffee was too cute as we got to meet him on Zoom yesterday!

Couple of my watches required battery replacement …. but oufff the price in this region to change the battery can be more expensive than buying a new watch 🫠 However we figured out the place where we could get original batteries at half price and with a guarantee for 2 years .. woooo that was amazing .  The watch repairer was a very unassuming person who took his tools and carefully opened the side of the watch where the battery had to be replaced.  And boy the insides of the watch looked so amazing … intricately done and it needed someone with precision and understanding to get the watch working again . The wrong pin 🙃

All excited for our ladies day out , I headed to meet my friend for a time of fun and gastronomic treats . I followed the location pin she shared with me and once I heard “ you have arrived, your destination is to your right "  very expectantly I stepped out but to my utter disappointment could not locate the building where my friend lived. I argued with the security that the building should be somewhere around and that he might not be aware 🫢.  However when I called my friend she agreed to have made the mistake of sending me the location pin of her office instead of the residence pin 📌 🙆‍♀️. Humbled and apologising to the security I now had to reroute and drive to the right address being behind our schedule by 45 mins .   Putting things into perspective and applying this into life , how often do we blindly follow people , ideas , religion, and end up in places and situations that we least expect.   How is it we are so blind to the fact that there is only one TRUT...

2 Corinthians   2:15   One Sunday morning on one of my metro rides in Delhi , I got super impressed when I saw a young gentleman(non Indian) carrying a big Bible with him . During our very short conversation he told me that he is new in Delhi and still figuring out a church to go to . I was happy to help and decided to give him my number when he asked me for the same.   However this was a bad decision. Despite him knowing that I have a family he started   to bother me with unwanted calls . It was getting too much that my husband had to intervene. He was upset that I trusted a stranger with my number. However I got easily misled by the big Bible that he was carrying and thought he would be a fine gentleman! Must say this incident left me to be more wiser and discerning. Carrying a Bible does not mean that we carry Christ like qualities in us . Christ like qualities translate into actions .
