When we were out on an errand our gardner who just got back from his leave was waiting outside our home along with a friend of his . He wanted us to reinstate him back to his job.

While having a conversation with him , I went to chuck something into the bin placed in our garage just to find a heap of cigarette stumps and ashes in it. Looked like someone had just thrown it in there. I was a little perturbed as I wanted to know who visited home when we were away ( none of us smoke at home) 

I checked with the gardener and his friend and they forthrightly said - oh that can never be us , we saw some delivery guy and maybe he would have dumped it ! I was a little anxious to find out who visited our premises in our absence. 

Our landlord fortunately had Cctv cameras installed so I went an hours back in time to see who could have come and it happened to be our gardner’s friend . They seemed to have lied as they were scared just in case I would be mad with them 😦 

Though my whole idea was just to figure out if anyone was trespassing. But thanks to the camera and the recording that put the matter to rest ! 

Have we at times done things in our lives that we don’t want to admit or feel that no one sees or for that matter no one will ever find out ! Though it’s possibles for certain things to be monitored we live or try to believe and live with the fallacy that things done secretly or said in secret no one will ever know or find out ! 

Lets see if the Bible has something different to say - “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” 2 Chronicles 16:9 .His eyes are always on us 24/7

David the Psalmist in psalm 139:7-8 says - “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have been spoken.”Matthew 12:35-36 

So next time before we use a foul language, before we swear , before we curse , before we forward something that’s lewd or demeaning , or before we gossip about someone or do something that we know is wrong - please be assured that you and me , all of us  have to be accountable ! 

Well the good news is if we turn to God and come with a heart of repentance God will forgive “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14 

Know that “The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbour His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”Psalms 103:8-12 

For the records - everything is recorded ! And let us not take God's LOVE and GRACE for granted .

Couple of my watches required battery replacement …. but oufff the price in this region to change the battery can be more expensive than buying a new watch 🫠 However we figured out the place where we could get original batteries at half price and with a guarantee for 2 years .. woooo that was amazing .  The watch repairer was a very unassuming person who took his tools and carefully opened the side of the watch where the battery had to be replaced.  And boy the insides of the watch looked so amazing … intricately done and it needed someone with precision and understanding to get the watch working again . The wrong pin 🙃

All excited for our ladies day out , I headed to meet my friend for a time of fun and gastronomic treats . I followed the location pin she shared with me and once I heard “ you have arrived, your destination is to your right "  very expectantly I stepped out but to my utter disappointment could not locate the building where my friend lived. I argued with the security that the building should be somewhere around and that he might not be aware 🫢.  However when I called my friend she agreed to have made the mistake of sending me the location pin of her office instead of the residence pin 📌 🙆‍♀️. Humbled and apologising to the security I now had to reroute and drive to the right address being behind our schedule by 45 mins .   Putting things into perspective and applying this into life , how often do we blindly follow people , ideas , religion, and end up in places and situations that we least expect.   How is it we are so blind to the fact that there is only one TRUT...

2 Corinthians   2:15   One Sunday morning on one of my metro rides in Delhi , I got super impressed when I saw a young gentleman(non Indian) carrying a big Bible with him . During our very short conversation he told me that he is new in Delhi and still figuring out a church to go to . I was happy to help and decided to give him my number when he asked me for the same.   However this was a bad decision. Despite him knowing that I have a family he started   to bother me with unwanted calls . It was getting too much that my husband had to intervene. He was upset that I trusted a stranger with my number. However I got easily misled by the big Bible that he was carrying and thought he would be a fine gentleman! Must say this incident left me to be more wiser and discerning. Carrying a Bible does not mean that we carry Christ like qualities in us . Christ like qualities translate into actions .
