Sit down ! Seat belt sign is on !!!

Hacking The Road: Roundabouts | Hackaday
Some men have an inhibition to admit that woman are good drivers . According to them every poor driver on the road or someone who is not parking well has to be a lady driver . However in an age and time where sky is the limit and women are ruling the skies [ women Pilots ] the world needs to embrace the reality that women are equally good
.

On a separate note I have a confession to make . My experience of driving initially was in small towns where the traffic was less and I was a confident driver . Driving in Delhi was a whole lot different than the small town driving experiences . My brother recently was recollecting a narrow escape we had when I was driving for the very first time  in Delhi, India [one of the biggest metropolitans in India] .Must admit that it sure was a harrowing experience for me too .

I had a Maruthi 800 car and on this maiden trip to the city from our home , I was on the steering and my brother belted up all excited looking ahead to the drive . After a few minutes of driving we started to encounter heavy traffic . No one followed lane driving and I got myself in the middle of the road with transport buses and cars whizzing by and overtaking me in a touch and go situation . Manoeuvring the car leave alone negotiating the traffic was so difficult. My brother started to panic, he took off the seat belt ready to jump off the car.  Must admit the situation was dicey and even so with an amateur driver . Seeing him panic and me not knowing what to do , I was so tempted to let go off the steering and allow fate to take its course. But good sense prevailed, I said a desperate prayer and I can’t clearly remember what happened after that , but we did get out of the mess and God gave me the ability to drive and reach our destination safely.

But that was a turning point in my life that taught me not to cave in to fear or get intimidated with things happening around you . This incident resonates so well with our life situations .We may feel the pressures of life so intensely that we may want to just jump out or run away , throw off relationships ,  let go and not deal with the motions of life and leave mid way before you reach your destination . We may feel hard pressed and fearful , delirious and anxious , crushed and insecure , inadequate and incapable , insecure and powerless . This is the exact feelings of Paul as he writes to the Corinthians “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NIV.

Life has it share bit of challenges and insecurities but it does not mean that we run away from it . Are we willing to ask Christ to step into our situation and seek deliverance through Him . Every testimony we hear builds us up and edifies our faith in Christ.

A testimony I recently heard of a renowned singer touched my heart . He was raised by a single mom and she struggled to meet ends with the limited resources they had . Soon a day came when they had to move out of their home with absolutely no where to go. This young boy wakes up in the middle of the night to see his mom on her knees and hands raised up to heaven . He heard the most unexpected prayer ever , considering the situation they were in . He heard his mom say -“ Thank you Lord for all your mercies . Thank you for taking such good care of us so far and we know that you are more than able to take us through every single day of our lives ! That prayer changed the heart of the son and he received and accepted Christ into his life .

So which ever situation you are in today, say " Thank you Lord ", and send up a sincere prayer which is more than enough to steer you out of every difficult season and situation of your life. His grace alone is ENOUGH ! But remember He won't interfere in your life unless you ask Him.

On another note , I have become a seasoned driver, dont panic after you read this blog ðŸ¤£
